ABOUT ME and WHY I AM WRITING THIS….

If you had read my bio in December of 2016, you would have seen that I was a serious financial services professional.  That was then. Today, I am RETIRED, with sole responsibility for figuring out what Retirement Means!  Just before what I call my R-DATE of December 31, I started writing down some thoughts about my decision to retire and how I was feeling about it and when I shared these with friends and family, people told me to share it.  As I thought about that, I figured that mine wasn’t the only story to tell and that it would be far more fun and meaningful if I shared other people’s stories, in addition to my own.  After all, there are tons of books and blogs about parenting, child rearing and pregnancy….but not a lot of information about the emotional and non-financial side of thinking about Retirement—Whatever That Is!?
